S is for Simple. Scrumptious. Super. Satisfying. Sauce! Paula’s peanut sauce sauce has many fans and many uses. It’s sweet and salty, but not too much of either. The kids love it, too.
This sauce works beautifully on steamed veggies (especially green beans), as a raw veggie dip, in a wrap, in a grain and tofu bowl…
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth, unsweetened, no salt)
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp syrup (maple or agave)
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1/4 c water
Mix well in blender.
