Happy Berry Smoothie

My Happy Berry Smoothie is a family favourite. It’s yummy, super simple, and packs a nutritional punch. Sugar is the one downside but it’s low on the smoothie spectrum and is tempered by high fiber from berries. I view smoothies – even healthier ones – as a treat rather than a daily staple.

– 2 cups frozen berries
– 2 cups unsweetened soy milk (I like Silk)
– 1 frozen banana
Serves three kids plus a taste for mama

Per toddler serving:
6 grams protein (1/3 of daily toddler needs)
4 grams fiber (1/3 daily toddler needs)
250 mg daily calcium (1/4 daily needs)
Nutritional Information

Lower calories: unsweetened almond milk
Higher protein: Vega Vanilla protein (one scoop)
